Louisville, KY (PRWEB) November 12, 2008 -- Corn Star Gourmet, a new, all-natural, gourmet grilling sauce, launched with a bang at the 2008 Natural Products Expo East - the East Coast's largest natural and organic products tradeshow held in Boston October 15 - 18, 2008. The one-of-a-kind grilling sauce was selected as one of the top five food and beverage new products in the 6th Annual New Products Showcase Awards.
Corn Star Gourmet is an all-natural, gourmet grilling sauce for grilled corn, vegetables, meat, fish or poultry. It is available in three flavors: Chipotle Lime, Smokey Sweet and Elote, which is a rich and creamy sauce featuring cotija cheese and a kick of cayenne pepper and based on the flavors of roasted corn from the streets of Mexico and southwestern United States.
Corn Star Gourmet President Jessica Kutz Flores created the Chipotle Lime product several years ago while experimenting with different ingredients in her kitchen. She served her delicious grilling sauce to friends and family who loved it and they encouraged her to enter the recipe into a contest on ABC TV's "Regis and Kelly." Her recipe, Corn Star Chipotle Lime, won the contest's vegetable category and gained national recognition.
Flores was inspired to return to the kitchen and develop more Corn Star Gourmet products. Armed with a love of cooking and passion for creating sauces with all natural ingredients, Flores created two more products, and recently launched the Corn Star Gourmet line at the 2008 Natural Products Expo East.
