Culver’s to add Luau ButterBurger to its lineup

Culver's soon will add a Hawaiian theme to its lineup of trademark Butterburgers after naming Aana Blalock of Rapid City, S.D. the winner of its Ultimate ButterBurger Build-Off Contest.

For developing the winning recipe, the company will bring Blalock's family to Wisconsin in a private jet and lodge them in the presidential suite at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

According to a press release submitted by the company, Blalock also will be invited to work with Culver's CEO Craig Culver and executive chef Jim Doak at the company's new headquarters in Prairie du Sac to refine the Luau Burger, which features a pineapple ring marinated in teriyaki sauce, a slice of Wisconsin cheddar cheese and the traditional ButterBurger.
