2002 SHOWTIME & LAWRY'S SOUL FOOD COOK-OFF

The Showtime & Lawry's Soul Food Cook-Off was held in May, with three of the five Finalists being CCCentral members: winner Edwina Gadsby of Great Falls, Mont., April Parmalee of Anaheim, Calif., and Nikki Norman, of Winter Park, Fla., who also sent in the photo.
The finalists won a 3-day/2-night trip for two to Los Angeles, Calif., to compete in the cook-off, $200 for groceries, and a prize bonus pack of Lawry’s and Soul Food merchandise. Celebrity judges included actress Kellita Smith, a co-star of "The Bernie Mac Show," actress Terri J. Vaughn of "The Steve Harvey Show," Chef Derrick Angus owner of Derrick’s Jamaican Cuisine in L.A., and Chef Greg Dulan, owner of Dulan’s Catering Co. in L.A.
