Hello and welcome to Cooking Contest Central. CCC is the meeting place for enthusiastic cooking contest
hobbyists from around the country and one of the most vibrant and creative groups on the Internet. As a group, our members have won hundreds of thousands of dollars, fabulous trips and other great prizes by participating in the fun, often thrilling and profitable hobby of entering cooking contests.
Cooking competitions have been around since pioneer days, when people would enter jams, jellies, pickles and other homemade foods to vie for blue ribbons at the local fair. Since then, many organizations and companies have recognized the public relations and fund-raising possibilities of sponsoring such contests. Today, there are dozens of national contests with hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes, and hundreds of regional, state and community contests every year.
The large majority of our members are not professional chefs nor have they been trained in exclusive cooking schools, yet they enjoy participating in this unusual hobby by using the same talents they use every day in their own
kitchens.
That's where CCC comes in. You can't win if you don't know where the contests are. Our goal is to provide cooking contest enthusiasts with the latest contests, tips, news and information on ongoing contests. We also host
several
forums for veteran contesters as well as those new to the hobby.
The cost to become a member of CCCentral is just $25 per year. Here are

A subscription to CCCentral
entitles you to be added to our Cooking Contest Alerts e-mail list. This alert
is issued two to four times a month, depending upon contest activity and other
newsworthy items. You'll know about new contests as soon as we find out about them... which is before most people find out.
We've even had sponsor's scratching their heads over our contest detection
efforts.
*DEADLINE CONTEST LISTS*
Access to our frequently updated lists of Deadline contests, Professional Contests, Contests for Kids and Students, and Other Contests (cooking-related contests).
We also maintain a online member database of contest activity (exclusive of
ongoing contests) from the year 2000 thru the current date.
*WINNING RECIPES*
Access to the largest and most up-to-date list of links to contest-winning recipes anywhere. New links are added constantly as contests end and recipes are posted.
*CCCENTRAL FORUMS*
Access to CCC Forums, where our members trade kitchen secrets, contesting tips and anything else relating to contesting.
In addition, we also feature an "Off-Line" Forum area where members can and do
discuss anything & everything outside the contest world. Our Forums are populated by some of the nicest people online and the veteran contesters welcome beginners into the fold with open arms.
With over 20,000 forum posts per year, our forums represents a treasure trove of
knowledge and competitive support, but most importantly a genuine human interest
by and for the people who make up CCC.

included on the menu to your left a number of free areas to taste the
offerings which CCC delivers:

You may want to review these to get an idea of how ubiquitous recipe contesting has become.
Of course, members have access to all archives thru the current date.

into a treasure trove of cooking, contest and food related news articles
culled from sources around the country.
- CCC Scrapbook - Hundreds of member
submitted pictures populate the pages of our scrapbook.
Sometimes they have the time to put their emotional experiences into words
and as a result you too feel the excitement of the contest and their win!
- CCC Hall of Fame - These winners
represent those of our members
who have strived to pique
the palate -- and garner large cash prizes -- by creating the recipes that
win the contests.
